Intake is the first step on a consumers’ journey to recovery with CNS Healthcare. Consumers are referred to CNS Healthcare’s Intake Department through Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) or Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority (DWMHA) after a comprehensive screening process.  This means a referred consumer can go to any CNS Healthcare site for same day intake and assessment because CNS Healthcare’s Intake Department uses the same day, open access model.  

After the intake and assessment processes are completed, a consumer is then, assigned to a Targeted Case Management or Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team and may begin their journey to recovery.
