CNS Healthcare (CNS) celebrated the grand opening of its new corporate office in Novi. CNS Healthcare is a private, non-profit human services agency accredited by CARF. At its new Novi headquarters, CNS offers administrative, outpatient and social support services. In addition to its corporate office, CNS Healthcare provides outpatient and social support services at its Dearborn, Southfield, Pontiac, and Waterford facilities.
CNS Healthcare was founded on the belief that people living with mental illness and substance use disorders warrant access to integrated, high-quality health care, and other supportive services that make it possible for consumers to live better lives in their community.
According to CNS Healthcare CEO Michael K. Garrett said, “Consumers participated in this ribbon cutting because they are the reason we exist. Although we are cutting a ribbon, this ceremony represents much more … at CNS Healthcare , we are making a difference in consumers lives!”
In addition to consumers, some of the other dignitaries and program participants included State Representative Hank Vaupel (47 th District), Chair Health Policy Committee and Co-Chair C.A.R.E.S. Mental Health Task Force, State Representative Tim Greimel (29 th District), Oakland County Commissioner David Bowman, Novi Assistant Chief of Police Erick Zinser, and the President of The Council of Baptist Pastors of Detroit & Vicinity, Inc. and Pastor of Russell Street Missionary Baptist Church Reverend Dr. Deedee Coleman as well as CNS Healthcare Board Members, its senior leadership team, staff and the public-at- large.
